Cependant, la mani\u00e8re de jouer ainsi que le montage ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 graduellement. C\u2019est au 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle qu\u2019un changement plus radical s\u2019est effectu\u00e9 avec le changement du manche pour un plus long mortais\u00e9 dans le tasseau du haut, avec un renversement plus grand et une touche tout en \u00e9b\u00e8ne. La barre, \u00e2me et autres accessoires ont suivi ce changement \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un\u00a0autre dans toute l\u2019Europe. Presque tous les instruments des 17\u00e8me et 18\u00e8me si\u00e8cles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ainsi transform\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Avec la renaissance de musique ancienne dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, les musiciens et luthiers se sont attel\u00e9s \u00e0 red\u00e9couvrir les techniques du pass\u00e9 pour essayer d\u2019\u00e9couter le r\u00e9pertoire classique et baroque avec une nouvelle palette de sonorit\u00e9. Une grande part de cette musique nous \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 famili\u00e8re, gr\u00e2ce aux concerts donn\u00e9s par les orchestres traditionnels, mais la red\u00e9couvrir, jou\u00e9e par un groupe de musique ancienne est un peu comme voir pour la premi\u00e8re fois les couleurs vibrantes d\u2019une peinture d\u2019un grand ma\u00eetre italien \u00e0 laquelle on a enlev\u00e9 les survernissages jaunis des si\u00e8cles pass\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis notre apprentissage \u00e0 Newark o\u00f9 Sylvie \u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re d\u00e9termin\u00e9e \u00e0 fabriquer un violoncelle baroque, nous avons travaill\u00e9 sur un certain nombre de tels instruments, que ce soit du neuf ou une reconversion d\u2019instrument ancien \u00e0 son montage initial: plus d\u2019information \u00e0 ce sujet sur la page de <a title=\"restauration\" href=\"https:\/\/fawcettviolins.co.uk\/fr\/restauration\/\">restauration.<\/a> En dehors des commandes individuelles, nous avons fait en 1991 un groupe de violons et un violoncelle pour l\u2019Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, premier orchestre baroque professionnel de Sydney. Plus r\u00e9cemment, nous avons eu dans l\u2019atelier des instruments anciens qui avaient encore gard\u00e9 certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments de leur montage initial. Les restaurer au plus proche de leur condition originale est au coeur de notre \u00e9thique de conservation.<\/p>\n<p>La volute illustr\u00e9e en haut de la page appartient \u00e0 un alto baroque mont\u00e9 avec un de nos premiers jeux de chevilles tourn\u00e9es. Nous utilisons du buis europ\u00e9en pour fabriquer les accessoires de nos instruments (chevilles et cordiers).<\/p>\n<p><center>\n\n<div class=\"ngg-galleryoverview ngg-slideshow\"\n\t
